Is Shahid Kapoor Feeling Sh***y After Rangoon’s Failure?
Shahid started a Twitter chat, a few minutes back, with fans and opened up about quite a few things, one of them being his failures at the box-office...
By now it's quite clear that Rangoon didn’t cash in money
at the box-office and failed miserably.
Almost a week after the release of the film, Shahid
Kapoor took to Twitter a few minutes back, to chat with his fans. We must say
Shahid was quite frank and honest in his replies.
One of the users asked him, “One straight forward
question.Keeping awards & rewards aside how does your feel when ur film
doesn't get commercial success?”
Shahid was quick to reply “Shitty”. Well, considering his
last box-office failure was Rangoon, it should not be wrong to say that’s what
he might be feeling at present?
And then, one of the fans asked him, “Is it that you
prefer dark films more now?”
To which Shahid replied, “Nope. Not for a while now.”
Again, is Shahid hinting towards the darkness of Rangoon
here?
We are surprised how a critics’ favourite Vishal Bhardwaj
can go wrong with this one, especially when his last film Haider was a critical
and commercial hit.
Rangoon was touted as a hit in the making. Why would it
not? The star cast included the stellar combination of Shahid Kapoor, Kangana
Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. But unfortunately the unexpected happened and the
film bombed at the ticket window!
Not just Shahid, we wonder what would Kangana reply to
these questions? Rangoon is Kangana’s second consecutive flop after Katti Batti
and has definitely left a dent in her reputation as a bankable star. Saif Ali
Khan’s career also needed a shot in the arm.
The trio is surely disappointed with Rangoon’s fate. And
Shahid’s latest chat with his fans just reassures that.
